Rhode Island is considered by some leaders of the supernatural field to be a hub of ghost activity. Locations such as the Biltmore hotel, the Sprague haunted mansion, the Belcourt Castle, and Newport's Jail House Haunted Inn give the small state an air of danger and death. Providence is a can of tuna and the tuna are ghosts. This photo taken circa the 1860s shows just how real the presence of ghosts is in this city.
